Open Rural Data
We are opening the doors to a world of knowledge, data collection, and dissemination from rural regions in Côte d’Ivoire and throughout the West African sub-region.
Rural regions in Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa are among the most disadvantaged places on our planet. In this context, numerous development projects are underway to bring significant improvements. However, the lack of relevant data about these regions often creates a gap between the actions taken as part of these projects and the expected outcomes.
Our mission is to promote transparency and accessibility of data from rural areas in Côte d’Ivoire and the West African sub-region. We support organizations of all sizes and individuals in this endeavor. This includes training on open data, providing tools, processing, and publishing data.
We act as a guide to help organizations and individuals become self-sufficient in collecting, processing, and disseminating rural agricultural data with an open data approach, thus promoting a better understanding and more effective use of this valuable information.
